This workshop will be an exploration into the benefits of yoga poses in relation to the internal systems and organs. Showing that yoga is not only for the strong and flexible, but rather a practice of healing and repair for all.
Whilst yoga asana offers incredible toning of the muscular and skeletal systems, this workshop will be focussed on what asana does for our internal systems.
Focusing on 5 important systems of the body, we will explore practices that have an effect on each system, including:
Not only can yoga have an effect on our physical health, but also our mental and emotional health. Practicing correct asana, with the help of our breath, helps to bring balance to the nervous system and, as a result, our general mindset.
By increasing the effectiveness of assimilation and excretions we are able to uplift al other systems in the body. The practices you learn during this workshop are simple and effective and will benefit all bodies. If you do not have a home practice then this is a great way to start. This course is open to all levels and requires no previous experience.
